I bought this to vacuum out the inside of my dryer, and then realized that with it being a [super narrow kind bendy hose attachment attached to a fairly rigid wire you hold that you can bend and that goes around corners] I can now also vacuum UNDER AND AROUND the dryer and washer, under and around the refrigerator, under and around the stove, under the couch, under the dressers, and in every super narrow gap I could never reach before.It would have been impossible to clean all of those places before. I have a bagless upright vacuum and a Roomba that runs three times a week. I would never have considered my home dusty, but my vacuum's canister was full after I used it to get to all of those places I never would have been able to reach before. This is really excellent for getting into really small spaces INCLUDING the amount of stuff it sucked out of my dryer and the rest of the narrow spaces in my home.I am very pleased with this purchase. I didn't even realize my home was dirty before this, and I just had a few hours of walking around and discovering all kinds of new places I could suck up surprising amounts of dust. Very much worth it. Would buy again.So I bought this product as I wanted to do some maintenance on my dryer. Some professionals can charge quite a bit these days now that gas prices are on the rise no matter where you live. So these companies are making up that cost to cover these expenses.Now depending on the type of vacuum you have. Results will vary. I have both a Shark that is 2 years and an Old Dyson DC07 that refuses to expire. As for the cleaning tube. Depending on your Dryer manufacture, this may not go all the way to back or half even half way. So keep that in mind. But getting the immediate lint from the screen trap area is what matters. You can easily clean this area and minimize lint build up. If you are able to get halfway thru the dryer then kudos to you. You are halfway there cleaning your dryer!!So what I did. Now keep in mind, THIS IS MY MAINTENANCE upkeep, your maintenance habits is your own, is that I moved the dryer so I can vacuum from the rear. I also left the tool there to see what will be picked up. So my vacuum picked up quite of lint. I then moved to the front and moved the tool as far it could inwards and also left it there and let the vacuum to its work.If you haven't cleaned your dryer since you bought it. Then I recommend getting the long and the round lint brush. Move your dryer from its vent and start from the rear with the round brush. Then use the long lint brush from the front. I also recommend putting on a mask. Trust me!Now you dryer will perform more efficiently. You can now move to cleaning your dryer vent and exhaust if you haven't done so already. Also this has other uses like cleaning the front lower fridge intake area or even a dishwasher. Anywhere where dust and lint can build up and get trap. Shoot even bathroom exhaust fans screen! Just use your imagination.Like others have said it develops this high pitch squeal which I wish could be fixed.I have a filter queen vacuum and I was able to remove the cone area and attach it to my vacuum easily. The hose was flexible enough for me to get all the way down into our dryer and pull out a large clog of lint. Love it! I will use it regularly!Easy to use for the job.Cleaned up a lot but didn’t remove all the dust and lint I hoped it wouldThis helped to clean up the drier and I didn’t know that little role could accumulate so much in it. However the tube did not fit all the way in and man, than loud whistle almost made me lose my hearing!!! So be careful when you use it, better use some protection on your ears.Been meaning to clean my dryer for forever and tried with the shop vac attachments...but not till today did I clear out all the lint buildupThis thing really works well. I've tried it on my vacuum cleaner and shop vac and it fits snug to provide great suction. I really like the wire guide that allows you to keep the plastic hose in line as you negotiate where you want it to be. The wire can coil down the hose to make it longer or shorter. I bought it for my dryer and it worked very well. A few days later, I changed the water filter on my fridge and while I was at it, I used the cleaner kit to get all around the coils and vent for the fridge. Its a bargain not just for the price, but because it really works.J'ai lu des commentaires avant d'acheter se produit. Il va me falloir un cour parce que moi sa ne fonctionne pas du tout. Le guide qui est supposer s'enrouler autour du petit boyau, ne s'enroule pas du tout. La tige est trop raide pour s'enrouler autour. Dans l'emballage, la tige est plier en deux, elle ne reviens pas droite. Très très déçu. Mon chum à bien ri de moi. Il ne faut pas croire tout les commentaires, 2ième produits que je me fait avoir, en lisant des commentaires. La prochaine fois que je vais hésiter à acheter un produit, au lieu d'aller voir les commentaires, je vais seulement changer de page, regarder autre chose.Works well at clearing out all the stuck lint in the filter space of my dryer. I wasn't able to get to it with just my vacuum so this did the job well. Tube is a little finicky to move around and the guiding rod works sometimes but mostly just gets in the way when I'm trying to move the tube around the filter space.One issue is that depending on your vacuum, it may not fit. For example, it wasn't able to fit on my old handheld Dyson vacuum but fit no problem with my Miele vacuum with the narrower tube. The Dyson tube was too big to fit in the adaptor.I used a flat vent cleaner first(another type)and ran into plugs, got most out. Then I used this one, this didn't seem to plug up as bad as the flat one. Having the wire is better than not having one.You just got to spend sometime in working this tool to do cleaning.Having a brush is a must to get big lint out. The attachment fits good. wire handle is a good to have it to assist in vacuuming.I made a makeshift vent cleaner before, ya it worked. But have an acutal vent cleaner makes it easier.Also I noticed my clothes is drying faster, so it pays off in electricity any breakdowns, cost, stress and fires!no more lint in the main reservoir. It was impossible to get into the place with my hand or the vacuum.For what is the dryier conduct, I couldn't access with it. It's probably a model thing.
